The Way of the Cross

On the cross Jesus said: “My God, My God, Why have you forsaken me?” as if to say “Why is it like this?” He was one who was not separate from our own suffering.
Many of us feel the weight of anxiety and fear as we journey through the current world. During this season of Lent, we look to the life and teachings of Jesus. We have hung stations of the cross along our brick wall on Pine Street, where we pair the traditional story of Jesus’ crucifixion with contemporary issues and images, showing struggle, resilience, and hope.
We will gather together to walk and pray these stations on Good Friday at 1 p.m.
