St. Peter's Choir

Discover the joy of music at St. Peter’s Church! Our vibrant choir, under the direction of Interim Music Director Dr. Derrick Thompson, welcomes singers of all ages and abilities. Rehearsing on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. and immediately following the service for an hour, our dedicated group prepares a diverse repertoire that spans traditional Episcopal hymns to compositions by contemporary artists.

The St. Peter’s Choir consists of skilled professionals and enthusiastic amateurs, united in their passion for making music to the glory of God. In addition to regular worship services, our choir plays a central role in Eucharist services for Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, as well as Evensongs and Hymn Sings.

Our repertoire includes selections from the 1982 Hymnal, Wonder Love and Praise, Lift Every Voice and Sing, and other cherished hymn collections. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or simply enjoy music, there’s a place for you in our community. Join us in lifting your voice in praise and fellowship!

New members are warmly welcomed. For more information about joining the choir, please contact Dr. Derrick Thompson at [email protected]
