The Great Faith of Dolly Parton
A 4-Week TNT (20s/30s) Discipleship Group
Dolly Parton rose from a one-room cabin in the Tennessee mountains to global fame, and she never stopped talking about God along the way. Her faith was a little unconventional, often funny, and very generous in practice. In the wake of her passing, it’s a fitting time to reflect on a life that pointed so many people toward kindness and faith.
In this 4-week TNT discipleship group, we will use her story and songs as a way into the bigger questions of discipleship. How do we stay grounded in who we are and where we came from? How do we hold on to faith in hard seasons? And how do we live out what we believe in ways people can actually see?
Join others in their 20s and 30s who want real conversation about faith, without the pressure to have it all figured out. Each week we’ll watch a short session and then talk, laugh, and think about how to apply it. We will gather from 7-8 p.m. on Zoom Thursdays, October 22 & 29 and November 12 & 19.
No Dolly expertise needed. Rhinestones are optional, but encouraged.
