Churchyard Challenge

This Halloween, come explore the St. Peter’s cemetery and learn more about the Revolutionary War patriots buried here. There will be no tricks or spooks—but there will be candy treats for all who complete the “challenge” and find the answers to our scavenger hunt. As you walk around the churchyard, you’ll learn the history of 14 Revolutionary War soldiers, sailors, and marines. Come to the churchyard from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31 to participate in this fun, free activity for all ages!

This year’s Challenge will focus on the History Committee’s recently released brochure “Revolutionary War Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines, Resting In St. Peter’s Churchyard.” But the questions for the challenge will be all new this year, so if you’ve joined us in the past, it’s worth coming again this year for a new experience!
