Mozart’s Requiem

On Sunday, May 31, the St. Peter’s Choir will perform Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, the composer’s profoundly emotional final work. The choir, under the direction of Dr. Derrick Thompson, will be joined by organ, timpani, and strings.
This is a benefit concert, and all net proceeds will be donated to the PA Immigrant Family Unity Project (PAIFUP), a collaborative of nonprofit organizations in Pennsylvania formed to achieve universal representation for detained immigrants in removal proceedings in the state. Launched in 2019, PAIFUP is Pennsylvania’s first publicly funded defense counsel project for detained immigrants. PAIFUP has traveled to 12 ICE facilities across Pennsylvania, represented more than 200 clients and secured release for 143 to date.
The concert is free and open to the public. No RSVP is necessary.
We do invite you to support the cause by becoming a concert sponsor. Click here to make a contribution to support this benefit concert. All donors who contribute at least $100 will be recognized in the concert program; donors who donate $250 or more will also receive priority seating.
