American Teenager Book Event

June 30 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us at St. Luke and the Epiphany for an author event featuring award-winning journalist Nico Lang. Nico will discuss their book “American Teenager: How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era.” The book offers a vivid and moving portrait of trans and nonbinary teenagers across the country, following their daily triumphs, struggles, and all that encompasses growing up trans in America today.

After the presentation, Rev. Sarah Hedgis-Kligerman from St. Peter’s Church will facilitate a conversation with Nico and Ryan Brossa, including questions from attendees, about how faith communities can support trans folx and their families. This event is free and open to all.
