From now through November 20, we will be filling our sanctuary with God’s Creation—the cute, the unusual, and the fascinating. We will also be filling St. Peter’s Facebook and Instagram with photos of our favorite animals and nature.
How can I participate?
We are asking everyone to bring in a printed photograph of a favorite critter (or any image that shows God’s beautiful creation) to decorate the outside of the pew boxes. Bring as many as you’d like throughout Creation Season! Please write your name on the back of your photograph.
How can I see all these cute and fascinating creatures?
Come to church to see the critters on display every Sunday. On weekdays, you can get your critter fix by following St. Peter’s Church on Facebook and Instagram. Use hashtag #churchcritter to see all the posts.
Can I win something?
Yes, you can! Every Tuesday, St. Peter’s staff will select their favorite “critter of the week” and the person who submitted the photo will win a $50 gift certificate to an eco-friendly local business. The prize for the first week is a gift certificate to Urban Jungle, a garden center in East Passyunk that brings a green vibe to the city.
