Pride Month Celebration Service

As part of our celebration of Pride Month, St. Peter’s will welcome Balena Canto to our Worship Service on June 15 for a Drag Queen Story Time. This is Balena’s sixth year at St. Peter’s Church! The character of Balena Canto is created by Matthew Maisano. She does Drag Queen Story Time as a part of her commitment to teaching the next generation about diversity, self love, creativity, and acceptance.

We hope you will join us for this special service! Our church’s Drag Queen Story Time honors God’s call to justice and welcome by supporting diverse families, offering inclusive role models, and nurturing a warm, joyful space where everyone is invited to belong. We are proud to host this event as a part of our commitment to radical inclusivity and the gospel of love.
