Gravestone Cleaning

Several parishioners gathered in May to clean an urn that sits atop the 1853 monument of William Peter in our churchyard. Note the striking before and after photos shown above! Our volunteer group of gravestone cleaners (we call ourselves “Taphophiles” – folks who have a “deep appreciation of cemeteries, gravestones and the history associated with them) will be getting together again for a cleaning session from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, June 21. If you might call yourself a “Taphophile” (and don’t mind a little “dirty work”), please join us! Contact Keith Betten at 856-786-1914 for more information.
