Bible Study: Mary, Mother of God

The Gospels paint a picture of “Mother Mary” as anything but “meek and mild”. Unlike all the other prophets who come up with reasons they should be excused from God’s call, Mary says “yes” to conspiring with God to cast down the mighty from their thrones and lift up the lowly.

Join Rev. Laurie and members of St. Peter’s during the weeks leading up to Christmas to reflect on the Mary of scripture and perhaps get to know this highly favored, unwed, pregnant girl for the first time.
