Whip, Splatter, Stir

Parishioner Claire Schrader is launching a new St. Peter’s ministry called Whip, Splatter, Stir – A Cooking Club for People with Parkinson’s Disease. Inspired by her deep friendship with Mrs. Adele Henley, Claire is working to offer a monthly cooking club for people living with Parkinson’s Disease as well as volunteers who want to help foster this special space for community and connection.
Sunday, May 5: Join us in the Parish House to learn more about Claire’s own faith journey leading to this vision as well as the details for this new ministry, including how YOU can support it!
Sunday, May 26: Join Claire for a time of planning and dreaming together. This is an opportunity to bring your own ideas and resources into the conversation. Know how we can get the word out to people with Parkinson’s? Do you have experience helping host volunteer trainings? Are you a pro at simple and delicious recipes? Do you want to be involved, but not sure how? This conversation is for you too.
