Thistle Hills seeks to help the women transform their lives by being and providing: \n\nA safe & supportive place to live\nA meaningful job\nA lifelong sisterhood of support\n\nWe will be joined by Program & House Manager\, Tiffany Starkes\, MSW\, who will give us an in-depth introduction to this program as well as help us explore how St. Peter’s can be a part of it. In addition to resources\, Ms. Starkes will also bring pottery created by the current Thistle Hills residents that will be available for purchase. Come with open ears and hearts!

Our contemporary public square is increasingly chaotic\, toxic\, and repulsive. The rise of Christian Nationalism repulses a growing number of Christians who have a hard time thinking and speaking from a more vibrant theological vision. Homebrewed Christianity has brought together some of the most powerful voices in progressive Christianity to teach on a number of alternative theo-political visions. Participants will be introduced to these traditions and get to put them into action as we wrestle with our present moment\, discovering the potential for an alternative public Christian witness.
