DESCRIPTION:Although St. Peter’s welcomes children at all times\, a special service for young children and their families takes place at 9 a.m. every Sunday during the school year. This service nurtures children’s spiritual formation and growth through singing\, stories\, crafts\, and communion. It is a playful\, energetic service\, led each week by a member of the clergy and our Children’s Ministry Leader on guitar. This is a long-standing service at St. Peter’s\, often attracting 30-40 attendees each week. DESCRIPTION:It’s time to play Lent Madness—a basketball-inspired holy competition to see which of 32 saints earns the coveted Golden Halo. St. Peter’s parishioners are invited to play along! Join us on Zoom at 7:30 p.m. Thursday\, February 27\, to get started. \nThe format is straightforward: 32 saints are placed into a tournament-like single elimination bracket. Each pairing remains open for a set period of time for participants to vote for their favorite saint. We narrow the field to 16\, then 8\, all the way to the final two in the Championship where one saint is crowned the winner. DESCRIPTION:Although St. Peter’s welcomes children at all times\, a special service for young children and their families takes place at 9 a.m. every Sunday during the school year. This service nurtures children’s spiritual formation and growth through singing\, stories\, crafts\, and communion. It is a playful\, energetic service\, led each week by a member of the clergy and our Children’s Ministry Leader on guitar. This is a long-standing service at St. Peter’s\, often attracting 30-40 attendees each week. We will conclude each session with Compline. \nBooks will be available for purchase from Head House Books\, 629 S. Second Street.
