It is a playful\, energetic service\, led each week by a member of the clergy and our Children’s Ministry Leader on guitar. This is a long-standing service at St. Peter’s\, often attracting 30-40 attendees each week. Dr. Susan Richardson\, with Aaron Skrypski\, Esq.\, M.Div (former rector’s warden and chair of the rector search committee\, Christ Church Philadelphia). \nCome for nourishment of your soul\, leave with practices to sustain it in the midst of parish leadership\, all in the winter beauty of Upper Bucks County. Cool spots like Mama Hawk’s Kitchen and Coffee or Alta’s Kitchen are nearby for grabbing lunch beforehand\, and New Hope and Lambertville are great for sunset coffee or antiquing afterward. \nThe retreat will be held Sunday January 12\, 1-4 p.m. at Trinity Buckingham\, cosponsored by Trinity Buckingham and St. Philip’s New Hope. DESCRIPTION:Currently we will be meeting every Sunday immediately following 11 AM worship for 90 minutes from January 19 through March 30 (except February 9). Once the group has our first meeting\, we may decide to shift some of the weeks from in-person on Sunday to Zoom later in the afternoon on Sunday or a weekday evening. \nJoin us for the 10-week course “Why Church?” where we’ll delve into the vital connection between individual discipleship and church belonging. In addition to fostering discussions on faith and community\, this course serves as an introduction or a continuation of your learning about the Episcopal Church. We’ll explore The Book of Common Prayer\, the liturgical year\, the sacraments of the church\, habits of daily prayer\, and the teachings of Anglican Christianity. \nThis class is designed for those considering or preparing for Christian rites of initiation during our bishop’s visitation in April. DESCRIPTION:Although St. Peter’s welcomes children at all times\, a special service for young children and their families takes place at 9 a.m. every Sunday during the school year. This service nurtures children’s spiritual formation and growth through singing\, stories\, crafts\, and communion. It is a playful\, energetic service\, led each week by a member of the clergy and our Children’s Ministry Leader on guitar. This is a long-standing service at St. Peter’s\, often attracting 30-40 attendees each week.
