SUMMARY:Summer Concerts in the Churchyard
DESCRIPTION:Music is coming to the churchyard this summer\, at our annual summer concert series. All are invited to join us for snacks\, live music\, and good company. These are free\, community concerts\, so invite your friends and neighbors to come along! Bring a chair\, picnic blanket\, your kids\, your dog\, and enjoy the summer night in our beautiful churchyard. \nSt. Peter’s will provide a free treat at all the concerts\, and invite you to bring a picnic dinner. \nConcert schedule: \n\nThursday\, June 12: The Phillip Bennett Band is led by singer-songwriter (and St. Peter’s parishioner) Phillip Bennett. This Philadelphia-based folk band plays songs that cover a range of topics\, including the experience of love\, loss\, celebration\, spiritual growth.\nCANCELED: Thursday\, June 26: Poor Man’s Gambit is a Philadelphia-area Irish band\, featuring fiddle\, button accordion\, guitar\, and other traditional Irish instruments.\nCANCELED: Thursday\, July 10: The Jazz Sanctuary’s Alan Segal Jazz Quintet features fine musicians who have been performing in the tri-state area for many years\, playing the music they love – American Jazz in all its glory\nNEW DATE: Thursday\, July 24: The Jazz Sanctuary’s Alan Segal Jazz Quintet features fine musicians who have been performing in the tri-state area for many years\, playing the music they love – American Jazz in all its glory
