This virtual coffee hour will meet on Zoom. Please check your weekly email for the link. If you are new to St. Peter’s, or do not receive our email newsletters, please contact Parish Administrator Kate Randall to receive the Zoom Meeting ID to join us.
Many of us, including our clergy, are grieving our changes in worship and the ways we are being called to adapt as a faith community. This is totally understandable and healthy. The first part of managing our grief is trying to name it, to name how we are feeling in the face of loss, disappointment, and pain. We do not have to stay in grief only, but we must begin there. Join Claire and Sarah in a space to share your grief. You don’t need to have your feelings sorted out or even know how to name them, just bring an open and honest self.
An important note: Grief is a feeling, not a thought or analysis. This is a space to share our difficult feelings about change. It is not a space to debate or convince others about those changes; this kind of approach will not be a part of our gathering.
We ask that everyone continue to mask indoors. Masks are provided at the door.
Proof of up-to-date vaccination (age 5 and older) is required to attend in-person worship. “Up-to-date” means fully vaccinated and a booster if it has been at least 5 months since your last shot. Please show your COVID-19 vaccination card or a photo of your card at the door as you enter the church. If you are not yet vaccinated, please join us for our live streamed service on our YouTube Channel.
Every member of the St. Peter’s Choir, clergy, and church staff are fully vaccinated.
The church is cleaned regularly, windows are open (weather permitting), and hand sanitizer is provided.
