Baptism, Burial & other sacraments
Holy Baptism is the initiation rite by which one embraces the Christian way and becomes a member of Christ’s body, the Church. Baptism is celebrated throughout the year on special Sundays; the next date will be November 2. To arrange Baptism for yourself or your child, please contact a member of the clergy.
Congratulations on your engagement! It will be our great joy to support you and celebrate with you. As we seek to embody the love of Christ, Saint Peter’s doors are open to one and to all. Information is available here.
Funeral & Burial
A death in the family should be reported to the clergy as soon as possible. We will assist promptly with arrangements for a funeral or memorial service. For recommendations for a local funeral director or to make arrangements for interment of ashes in the Churchyard, please contact the parish administrator.
The laying on of hands and anointing with oil is offered on the second Sunday of each month. You may also arrange to meet with a priest at any time.
Communion for the sick or home-bound
Clergy or parishioners specially licensed for this ministry are available for pastoral visits to the hospital or your home.
During worship each Sunday we join in saying the confession and receiving absolution. If you feel burdened by guilt, grievance or sin and would like to make a personal confession with a priest, please contact a member of the clergy.
