Blessing of the Animals

Dogs, cats, and pets of all kinds are invited to attend the 11 a.m. worship service with their humans to receive a blessing on October 8. On this day, we will celebrate the feast day of the Patron Saint of Animals, Saint Francis of Assisi. St. Francis is remembered for his love of all creatures great and small.

At the end of the worship service, all will be invited to go outside in the churchyard for the Blessing of the Animals. If you aren’t attending the in-person service and you’d like your pet to receive a blessing, please arrive at the churchyard at 12:15 p.m.
