We gather as an entire church community many times each year for fun and fellowship. Please check our calendar for specific dates and times for these events.
Join us after the 9 and 11 a.m. services every Sunday for coffee. Weather permitting, the coffee hour is held outdoors in St. Peter’s Way adjacent to the parish house at 313 Pine Street. In case of rain, the coffee hour moves into the parlor of the parish house.
St. Peter’s parishioners and clergy open their homes for gatherings known as “House Church” once a month. Groups of 10-12 gather for a worship service with prayer, Bible readings, and Communion. Following the liturgy, we share a meal and conversation, and deepen our sense of connection to one another and to God.
The first Sunday in June we gather in St. Peter’s Way adjacent to the parish house for ice cream sundaes to celebrate the start of summer.
Each year the church sponsors outdoor community concerts with live music and food trucks. These concerts are open to the public, and neighbors and friends are invited to enjoy live jazz or folk-rock music in our beautiful churchyard. Concerts are typically held on Wednesday evenings in June, July, and August.
Welcome Back Picnic
In early September the church organizes a potluck picnic in the churchyard. Parishioners are invited to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
In October and January, we meet together in the auditorium of St. Peter’s School for lunch and fellowship. We discuss the past year’s accomplishments, thank parishioners for their support, and discuss our plans for the future.
