[email protected]: Can We Talk? 10:00 am
[email protected]: Can We Talk? @ St. Peter's School Auditorium (second floor)
Jan 7 @ 10:00 am – 10:50 am
With special guest parishioner Marianne Lipson Community is made up of people, and people are full of stories.  We connect by talking to each other, yes, and about each other.  Somehow that always sounds like a bad thing – but we need it. Talking about ourselves, talking about each other, talking TO each other – how can we? how should we? when do we? Telling stories about ourselves and each other is the only way to share things beyond what we physically, literally experience together.  But we all know it’s rude to talk behind people’s backs – isn’t it? I invite anyone who wants to talk about GOSSIP to gather to hash out this question Sunday, January 7 at 10 a.m. Remember the famous words: “If you haven’t got anything nice to say, come sit near me.” [email protected] is the adult education hour on Sunday mornings at St. Peter’s. We try to offer a wide range of programming to engage your mind and your spirit, and we hope you’ll join us as often as you’re able.

Jan 14 @ 10:00 am – 10:50 am
Join Music Director Dr. Darryl Roland for a conversation about expanding the existing  St. Peter’s choral program to include a comprehensive after-school program for children and youth. Possibilities include mentoring, tutoring, homework help, and outreach. Let’s talk about our vision for reaching out to the children in our neighborhood and first steps that have been taken to reach this goal. [email protected]: Re-Visioning Atonement: What Jesus’ Death Means 10:00 am
[email protected]: Re-Visioning Atonement: What Jesus’ Death Means @ St. Peter's School Auditorium (second floor)
Jan 21 @ 10:00 am – 10:50 am
In advance of the Lenten season, please join Rev. Sean to explore theologies of the atonement: a multiplicity of perspectives on what Jesus’ death means for those who profess the Christian faith. We’ll interrogate notions of sacrifice, substitution, and scapegoating as we seek an atonement consonant with an open-hearted, open-minded faith.
