Guatemala Trip Meeting
by Kate Randall
For many years, St. Peter’s has had a wonderful partnership with the Canterbury School in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Almost every year, a group from St. Peter’s travels to Guatemala to build relationships with the Canterbury School community, to be of service, and to experience the culture and people of Guatemala. This year’s partnership trip will run from July 17th-25th. We will be working on a gardening project at the Canterbury School, spending time in the School’s classrooms and on the playground, and also visiting the rural San Lucas Mission on Lake Atitlan. Interested in participating? Come learn more at our info session on March 13th. Can’t attend the session? Please write to [email protected] for more information. The deadline for expressing interest in the trip is March 30th, and we will need a deposit of about $600 (exact amount TBD) by April 15th. The deposit will cover most of your costs on the ground in Guatemala, and you will also be responsible for purchasing your plane ticket.
